Construction & Warranty
Frame ConstructionConstructed from kiln dried hardwoods and ¾ inch structural laminates. Mortise and tenon assembly is used to lock the frames together at all stress joints, then reinforced with corner blocks which are glued and stapled for superior strength.
Seat SupportA machine tied coil spring system in our product. The individual coils are constructed of 9.5 gauge steel and are 5” high. Standard frame depth allows for rows of 4 springs deep. The coils attach on top & bottom using a custom grip consisting of 1 gauge wire. Each coil is then connected to the base to prevent movement. The coil spring benefit is a more uniform seating platform, which provides a deeper comfortable sit and disperses weight more evenly. The spring unit also offers less stress to the frame.
Padding & ErgonomicsStandard seat cushion is a 5 ply construction featuring a 1.8 density foam core with an additional layer of 1” of soft foam bonded to each side and wrapped in a 3oz Dacron. This gives the cushion a uniform crown and provides a soft, comfortable ride for the consumer. To further enhance the quality, frames are padded on ALL exposed frame components, including the outside backs and sides. This affords a better tailored product, more comfort and long lasting quality and lets you float any of our products in the middle of the room.
WarrantyFrames have a Limited Lifetime warranty; Spring Systems have a 3 Year warranty. 1 year warranty for all other parts of our products.
